Phantom HD GOLD
The Phantom HD provides excellent image quality combined with high speed recording rates up to 1000 frames-per-second, plus 35mm film format compatibility. The Phantom HD allows you to select any frame rate from 1 to 1,000 fps in increments of one frame per second at HD resolution.
With the Phantom camera's shutter, variable to 1/500,000 second, and radically adjustable framing rates, you have seamless control of the duration, speed and time of a story element.
The Phantom allows you will know exactly how your shot looks immediately. You can play back in real time.
The Phantom HD's sensor is truly unique, capable of 2K imaging for cinema. The vertical image size can also be changed in 8 pixel increments. Pixels measure 12.5 microns, and 14-bit A/D converters provide sensitivity and image quality that has to be seen to be believed.

Sony F900
The first 24P HD camera
The F900 resembles the Digital BetacamTM camcorders but there are some very relevant changes This camera offers new alternative to 24-frame film origination for productions. The record deck is intregrated into the camera body itself and shoots on HDCAM tapes. It is capable of acting as a bare bones, news style camcorder with an ENG lens or used on a feature film using digiprime lenses or cine style type zoom lenses with the typical film accesories.
What distinguishes the F900 was the first HD camera able to capture and record digital high definition pictures – at 24 progressive frames per second. Moving pictures are digitally imaged in accordance with the CIF (Common Image Format) standard, which specifies a sampling structure of 1920 by 1080 active pixels.
