Athena's 135mm telephoto extends the family's neutral, restrained rendering into compression-friendly territory, with clean color, balanced contrast, and resolution that holds detail without tipping into clinical. At T2.2 the focus plane separates cleanly from the background, and the long focal length stacks that falloff into soft, rounded bokeh from a 14-blade iris. Flare stays controlled and modern, with mild veiling when pushed into a source rather than aggressive artifacting. Interchangeable PL and other mounts, a full-frame image circle, consistent front diameter, and geared focus and iris rings keep it serviceable across rigs. The reach and gentle roll-off suit close coverage, isolated portraits, and tight inserts where you want compression and separation without a vintage signature getting in the way.
