The Alexa Mini LF brings large-format capture into a body small enough for gimbal, drone, and tight-quarters work, recording the full ALEV III sensor at up to 4.5K with the wide latitude and natural color science the platform is known for. Highlight roll-off stays smooth and skin tones render organic with minimal grading, holding fourteen-plus stops of dynamic range across the exposure. It records ARRIRAW and ProRes to Codex Compact Drives, carries an LPL mount with built-in /i and LDS support, and accepts PL glass via adapter. Internal motorized ND filters from ND0.6 to ND2.4 keep exposure control on-body, while four user buttons and MVF-2 viewfinder support streamline operation. A practical A-camera for narrative and commercial work where large-format depth rendering and a compact footprint both matter.
