The Venice 2 builds its reputation on a dual-base-ISO sensor that holds clean shadow detail at 3200 while preserving highlight latitude that resists clipping under hard practicals. Available in 8.6K full-frame and 6K configurations, it renders color with a neutral, gradable signature that sits comfortably in the wide-gamut workflows most post pipelines now expect, with skin tones that read natural rather than processed. Internal X-OCN and ProRes recording removes the external recorder from the build, while the interchangeable sensor block, eight stops of internal ND, and a removable tilting EVF keep the body adaptable across studio and run-and-gun configurations.
