Lomo OKC 150mm f/3.2
Russian-built and unmistakably so, the OKC 150mm renders with cool, neutral color and a moderate contrast that holds detail in the shadows without crushing them. Sharpness is honest at the center and softens toward the edges, giving faces a slight three-dimensional lift at the longer focal length, while bokeh stays round and creamy through the falloff with no nervous edges. Flare leans toward streaked, sometimes blue-tinged veiling when pushed into a hard source — controlled rather than wild, with character that reads vintage but never sloppy. PL mount with geared focus and iris, an image circle sized for Super 35, and a focus throw long enough for precise critical work on a long lens. A natural choice for portraiture, isolated close-ups, and any setup where you want compression with an organic, slightly Eastern-bloc signature. Lenses are not rehoused and can be fragile. Motors are not recommended.
